Welcome to the ‘home’ of all of the good practice case studies that the WAO routinely identifies as part of its ongoing work. These case studies have been published in our local and national reports and are now available in an easy-to-use search facility. More case studies will be added to the Library as we publish our reports. If you want to find examples of good practice the WAO has identified in a geographical area of Wales, in relation to a specific subject area or a sector of public services, please use the search form below.

studies so that you can look for them based upon the following geographical areas:

North West Wales – Gwynedd and Anglesey;

North East Wales – Conwy, Denbighshire, Flintshire and Wrexham;

Mid Wales – Ceredigion and Powys;

West Wales – Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire;

South Wales West – Swansea , Neath Port Talbot and Bridgend;

South Wales Central – Rhondda Cynon Taf, Merthyr Tydfil, Vale of Glamorgan and Cardiff ;
